2025 Annual PaperweightsThis year artists were asked to design weights of their choosing with no guidance offered. Out of the twelve submissions we received, these two designs stood out. Mikael Hingant continues to develop his skills as a flameworker, drawing inspiration from his tropical island home of La Réunion. Stephen Boehme, a newcomer to the paperweight world but well known in the world of contemporary art glass marbles, showcases detailed Franchini-style murrine executed in borosilicate glass.
